On 27th November, 33 transition year students will be travelling to the ESC, Belgium. The trip consists of a five day residential programme which aims to bring a real and practical application to science topics learned in school. The instruction will be delivered by the Belgian Ministry appointed space experts. The challenges of flight training, multi axis training, satellite technology amongst other exciting tasks will bring biology, chemistry and physics to life. All work and no play is counter productive, so therefore students will have the opportunity to engage in afternoon and evening trips and activities. The teachers accompanying the boys are : Ms. M. Treacy, Mrs. Marion McDonald and Mr. Joe Kirke. We wish them bon voyage and a full report on the trip will be published in the next issue.
